Yesterday my math group and I got a series of questions to answer with the doubling and halving strategy. The doubling and halving strategy works like this:
If you had a question like 18X3=? You would halve the eighteen then double the three like this:
9X6=54
So there you have it, 18X3=54!
Easy right?!
